Chris Murray, former frontman of King Apparatus presents "4-Trackaganza." This album rules in its simplicity. This entire album was recorded on a 4-track by Chris and released on Asian Man. This was professionally mixed down on dat and mastered so the quality is far superior to those local punk bands on mp3.com but the simplistic recording methods are immediately apparent in the sound. The songs on "4-Trackaganza are a mix of ska, reggae, and 50's Doo-wop. "California Time" begins as a slow reggae jam but Chris's vocal doo-wop harmonies add flavor and warmth to the song. The vocals have that strange reggae stylee and its awesome to see a white guy replicate the charm of greats like Marley.
